GreAt MoVieS

Earlier 2day, i've watched few great movies in a dvd that i've found few days ago..
All of them are about sportsmanship, courage, inspiration and all that..
They were also sending messages such as avoiding racism, everyone got their own
special abilities and also bout the determination that all of us need 2 pursue our dreams in this hazardous and challenging life..

Most of the stories are telling us 2 be a wise, responsible, determined, and we should never evaluate other people from their looks...
Instead of doing that, we should take a good look 2 th
eir quality, credibility, and willingness 2 do the best in every single aspect of their lives..

5 Easy Ways to Start a Diet

I just wrote the word "diet" in the title so you'd know what I was talking about, but honestly, that should be a swear word. How about, "5 easy ways to get food to serve you and your goals?" Or what about, "The joy of food", or "The great things food can do for your body and your goals."

So much of what we look like is impacted by what we put in our mouths. The tricky thing is that food is connected to us as emotional beings so much more then exercise. Yes, some people blow off stress by taking a run, but most of us would just rather reach for a donut, slice of pizza or scotch and soda.

I think the food puzzle needs to be unraveled simply and slowly so that our approach is simple but realistic to our lives.

1. Drink only water, with the exception of your beloved coffee in the morning. According to studies, this would eliminate 20% of our caloric intake and help all of our body functions run more smoothly.

2. Cut down your portions
I'm not even going to say what to eat and not eat. I'm just saying if you are having that sub at lunch cut it in half. We all overeat, so just eat until you are full. I'ts difficult to do, so halve the food and get it away from you. If it's sitting there you will want to eat it.

3. Don't skip breakfast
You will have a 70% chance of overeating throughout your day if you skip breakfast.

4. Keep a food journal
This will help you see exactly what you are eating and when. You will even be able to see patterns of grabbing food at stressful moments, etc. Journaling just makes you aware and in charge of your food--not the other way around.

5. If you can avoid it, don't eat after 7 p.m.
On business dinners or birthday gatherings don't worry about it. But when you can, try to finish eating earlier in the day.

See, that's not hard to do. Now as you progress in this area, I have some other rules to help you improve your relationship with food.

  • Don't eat fast food (unless you have no other choice).
  • Avoid microwaving your meals. Cook it yourself.
  • Limit tons of sugar and wheat-based products (in anything).
  • No diet, or fat-free, food. They contain a lot of ingredients that no one can pronounce.
  • Fill your plate during the day with foods of all colors.
  • Eat slowly and chew your food well.
  • Eat when you are hungry and not because you are sad, mad, or stressed out.
  • Limit your red meat intake.
  • Foods that have a 10-year shelf life should not be eaten. Go for the real stuff.
  • Don't snack yourself to weight gain. Eat real meals that are satisfying, not snacky foods that will kill your waistline and make you feel blah.
Actually, this topic isn't my idea..
I got it from somewhere else and i hope this tips will be helpful 2 all of us including me!!

NeW LeiSuRe AcTiViTiEs

This week, i found out totally new and challenging activities...
I don't know why, suddenly i was inspired 2 do these activities in my empty life right now...
Few days b4, i overcame my sleeping desire 2 get up early in the morning and went 2 the nearby stadium 2 have a jog...

Unconsciously, i started 2 love wat i've done on that particular day..
This morning, i decided 2 do it again...Then...After i've done the jogging..
Somehow, i felt that i wanna go 2 the gym at the stadium...

At first, i was thinking whether i should go inside or not..
Luckily, my two old friend, Syahmi and Mat saw me peeping the people inside the gym..
So, they went out from there and invited me 2 join them...

Syahmi is the one who go there regularly, so he taught me how 2 use all the instrument available there..
I tried most of them and you know wat??
I almost aching 2 death when i did all those "energy reducing" activity..

However, i can feel the difference now and i guess i gonna go there more frequently than ever afterwards..

I think this is not a bad way 2 spend my leisure time instead of just playing video games at home 24/7...haha
I wanna recommend 2 all my friends 2 try this beneficial and healthy activity...

MoViEs...

Recently, i came into a totally new interest (or should i say it already become a hobby)..
It's watching movies..
4 past few months i always watch the newest movies in town just after they were released..
Don't get me wrong, i r
arely went 2 watch them with somebody else..
It was only me and my lonely soul go 4 movies..

Anyway, that's not the real purpose i write this thing..
Actually, i wanna share with all of you bout the movies i've watched..
4 me all the movies that i gonna tell you all are interesting, u'r not gonna sleep while watchin them, and totally cool..

Egypt, Friend or Foe??

As all of us know, Egypt is one of the neighbour countries of Palestine..
However, there must be many opinions among us about their acts closing their border 2 palestine territory..
Their selfish acts had caused many relief supplies couldn't be sent 2 the needed people of palestine..
The government led by Hosni Mobarak seems like they are afraid that their strong relationship with the US will broke down if they open their borders...

Their lame excuse is because they afraid there will be smuggling weapons activities if they open the border....What a pathetic excuse!!!
If they really love Islam, they should open the border and even should supply weapons 2 palestinian 2 further their fight against the Israel!!!

In the other hand, Iran which is a Syiah country, support the fights against cruelty of Israel by the Palestinian while other Islamic countries just close their eyes like nothing happened!!
We also could see the Turkish effort against Israel by watching Tayyip Erdogan acts in Davos...
What about other Islamic leaders??
The Arab League just think about themselves, about their country , not about the Islamic unity..

These are just my opinions, i'm not sure whether all of you agree or not..
However, we should take this issue seriously...

BriTisH CouNciL

It's been a while since the first time i went to British Council...
The class is held on every fridays & it became my routine 2 go to Penang once a week 4 that..
Honestly, on the first day i got a lil bit
scared & nervous cos i didn't know anybody there!!!

Thx god, i could overcome that prob cos unpredictably the students there are more friendly than anybody i've met!!
Though most of the students in my class are chinese, they are really good 2 me..
I'm really grateful 2 get such good friends like them...

These people in the pics are the most friendly person i've met..
They are Jayne & Alex...When i met them 4 the first time, i thought they would not befrie
nded with me but what happened was vice versa...
Though most of the students in my class are already good in English (especially the Chinese), they still want 2 learn English...I really envy their spirits...

It is because most of them already had a job, but still, they spend their time every single Friday just 2 improve their English....The guy who's waving his hands above is a pediatrician (children doctor) in Penang General Hospital..
I guess if any children fall sick, i can recommend this guy..

Last night, we were told 2 act in front of the class by using all the exercises we had done..
All of us were giggling when it came 2 acting!!!
However, there was nothing i can do bout it..
We were divided in 4 people in a group and we must pick a situation provided in the book..
My group consists of me, Kit Wai, Alex, and his younger sister, Esther...
The funny thing is somehow Alex got himself out of the situation by minimizing his role in the whole thing!!!
Her diligent sister was the one who give her heart 2 the fullest 4 the assignment...
I'm not surprised cos girls are usually more diligent than boys!!
haha..

I really hope that there will be held more exciting & joyful activities while i'm studying there..
2 all my friends, i think u should go 2 this brilliant place also cos the classes are fun!!

WaT a BoRiNg TimE....

After the SPM ended, i've nothing 2 do..
All the things that i've planned 2 do after the exam's done
cannot be fulfilled..

I don't know why this happens and now i'm stuck at home..
Playing video games, listening 2 musics, watching movies have
become my daily activities...

I really hope that i can reduce these unbeneficial and stupid
activities...

The only good things i've done are attending a British Council class once a week and take the driving licence..

Though i'm a playful kid, i miss the moments when i was a student in KiSaS..That's the most memorable thing that ever happened 2 me..
I really miss all sort of things i've done with my buddies..

I can't believe i gonna say this, but i guess i miss the classroom!!
Life as a student there is the greatest and most adventuruos experiences i've got..

I still remember the moment i was called 2 the principal's office 4 my "fly" habits..He asked me 2 speak in Arabic language but i couldn't do it..
Then, he ask me 2 speak in English..
Well, i could speak a little but the nervousness made me looked like a dumb or something like that..

So, i guess that's all 4 now..
